 History on Reiki

Reiki's origins are unclear, dating back to 2500 BC, but it was rediscovered in 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk. Born in 1865 to a wealthy family, Usui in a Tendai Buddhist Monastery, mastering various healing practices. After years of searching for a way to channel healing energy, he spent 21 days fasting and meditating in a cave on Mount Kurama, where he received a vision of ancient symbols to develop his healing system. Usui opened his first school in April 2, others and training 16 Reiki Masters before his death in 1926, ensuring Reiki's accessibility to all, free from religious affiliations.

What is Reiki ?

Reiki is spiritual practice that fosters healing and well-being. This gentle technique, whether through touch or at a distance, offers numerous benefits that can affect you on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels in countless ways.

Non-invasive and non-judgmental, embodies unconditional universal love that connects all living beings. It transcends boundaries of religion, beliefs, race, time, or space, representing a concept far beyond our full understanding.

The term "Reiki" is derived from Japanese, meaning spiritually guided universal life-force energy. "REI" signifies universal wisdom and higher intelligence, while "KI" represents the life force energy that animates all living things.

Distant Reiki healing allows practitioners to offer sessions beyond the constraints of time and space, enhancing their ability to transmit spiritual energy without physical contact.

Human beings and animals are more than just physical forms; our optimal health relies on Ki energy that flows through and surrounds us. This energy supports balance within our chakra system and meridians, which facilitate the circulation of life force energy throughout our mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies.

When our Ki is low or blocked due to stress—often stemming from conflicting negative thoughts—it can lead to illness. As the mind extends beyond the brain into a subtle energy field called the Aura, these negative experiences can become lodged in our unconscious, posing significant challenges to our well-being.

How can Reiki help?

Reiki's greatest value lies in its inherent intelligence; it is guided by higher spiritual forces and knows precisely where it is most needed. It how to respond to any restrictions a person's Ki energy flow, operating independently of the mind.

The Reiki practitioner channels this energy, allowing it to circulate freely throughout their body before directing it through their hands into another person's energy system. This process helps to illuminate and address any affected or blocked areas within the individual's Ki energy field infusing all pathways with positive energy. As a result, it raises awareness of negative thoughts and emotions stored in the body and mind, enabling the release of energies tied to stress, anxiety, depression, physical pain, sadness,, worry, fear, doubt, confusion, and toxins, thus facilitating holistic healing and balance for each individual.

Reiki is completely safe for all animal species.

Animals are naturally intuitive beings and respond positively to treatments. They perceive the energy as gentle and comforting, experiencing a soothing warmth that brings them ease. This energy can flow freely throughout their bodies, enhancing their natural healing processes when they are relaxed. It helps to balance emotional, behavioral, and physical issues softly, without any side effects.

All animals, particularly dogs, are innate healers. They often absorb their humans' problems in an effort to help, and like humans, their KI energy can become blocked. When this energy is obstructed, it can lead to pain, discomfort, stress, anxiety, and illness. Conversely, when the energy flows freely at a high vibration, pets are healthier, more balanced, and relaxed, making them less susceptible to illness and better equipped to handle challenges. This promotes an overall harmony of the mind, body, and spirit in animals.
