Sound Healing with Reiki

Vibrational therapy for deep emotional, physical, and energetic healing – for both humans and animals.

 Introduction to Sound Healing:

Sound is vibration and our bodies are composed  of energy and vibration frequencies. Sound healing utilizes tools such as tuning forks, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, along with Reiki energy, to support the body's return to it's natural state of balance and harmony. Whether you're seeking peace, mental clarity, or physical relief, sound therapy provides a non-invasive, deeply restorative approach to well-being.

 Sound Healing for Humans:

When combined with Reiki, sound healing can enhance the body's natural healing processes by calming the nervous system and realigning energetic imbalances. Each sound tool—whether a tuning fork or singing bowl—resonates with different parts of the body and energy field.

*Stress and anxiety relief

*Improved sleep and mental clarity

*Pain and tension reduction

*Emotional release and grounding

*Chakra alignment and energy clearing

*Deep meditative states

Instruments Used

Standard-Tuning Forks: Calibrate specific frequencies to realign the body’s vibrational field.

Otto-Tuning Forks: Used on or off the body to stimulate specific pressure points or energy centers.

Tibetan Singing Bowls: Offer grounding and deep relaxation through harmonic overtones.

Crystal Bowls: Powerful and clear tones to open energy pathways and raise vibration.

Sound Healing for Animals (Including Horses)

Animals are highly sensitive to vibration. Sound healing can ease stress, support healing, and promote trust and connection.

*For Animals and Horses, benefits include: not limited to

*Calming anxiety and behavioral issues

*Supporting recovery from trauma or injury

*Aiding digestion and physical well-being

*Enhancing trust and emotional bonding (especially helpful with rescue animals or horses in training)

*Easing end-of-life transitions with comfort and grace

Sessions are always gentle, respectful, and adapted to each animal’s comfort level.

 Navigating Discomfort During Sound Sessions:

At times, certain sounds may stir emotional or energetic discomfort. You may feel tension, restlessness, or even unexpected emotions arise. This is often a sign that something is moving or releasing within your energy body.

What to do:

*Breathe deeply – Conscious breathing helps the energy move.

*Stay present – Allow the feeling to pass without resistance.

*Let your practitioner know – Adjustments can always be made to support your comfort.

*Remember, discomfort is not necessarily a bad sign—it can indicate healing and releasing in progress.

                                                       Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens during a sound healing session?

During a session, you (or your animal) will relax while I use a combination of tuning forks, singing bowls, and Reiki energy to gently bring the body and energy field into balance.

2. Can sound healing help with specific conditions like anxiety or pain?

Yes. Sound healing can support emotional, physical, and energetic healing. While it’s not a replacement for medical treatment, many clients report reduced anxiety, improved mood, better sleep, and less pain after sessions.

3. Is sound healing safe for animals?

Absolutely. Animals are very receptive to energy and sound therapy. Sessions are always conducted gently and respectfully, allowing the animal to guide the pace and intensity. I never force sound on an animal—if they walk away or need space, that’s honored. It will always depend on the certain animal.

4. How do horses respond to sound therapy?

Horses often respond deeply to sound healing. It can help them release tension, become more grounded, and connect emotionally—especially if they’ve experienced trauma or are in training. Many horses visibly relax, lower their heads, or even want to fall asleep during sessions or after sessions.

5. Will I feel anything during the session?

Each person’s experience is unique. Some feel warmth, tingling, or emotional release. Others simply feel relaxed or sleepy. Occasionally, certain sounds may bring up discomfort—that’s completely normal and often part of the healing process.

6. How long is a session?

Typical sessions for humans are are 60 minutes, but I also offer shorter and longer options for animals depending on their attention span.

7. What’s the difference between crystal and Tibetan singing bowls?

Crystal bowls produce clear, high-frequency tones that resonate strongly with the energy body and chakras.

Tibetan bowls offer deeper, more grounding vibrations and are often used for relaxation and calming the nervous system.

Both are powerful—often used together in a session.

8. Do you offer remote distance Reiki sessions?

Yes, I offer distance Reiki healing sessions for both humans and animals. Because energy work is beyond physical proximity, remote sessions can be just as effective. We’ll connect beforehand to set intentions and get some info.

9. How often should I schedule sessions?

That depends on your goals. Some clients come weekly, (recommended, if you have a chronic illness or pain) others come monthly or as needed. For animals, I may recommend more frequent sessions at first, especially if we’re working through trauma or behavioral issues, at least once or twice a month.
